Lazo’s Tacos
Lazo’s Tacos has been a Chicago landmark for 34 years in the Bucktown area of Chicago. First opening on March 28, 1980, it has been serving authentic Mexican food ever since. With many of the staff working there since inception, the quality has remained the same high caliber. Dishes ranging from tamales to carne asada, there is something for everyone with different taste buds, with their specialty being tacos of course. During the week, it is low key and relax with a mixture of salsa music and today’s popular, setting a nice environment to relax after work with a margarita. During the weekend however, it is a lively atmosphere with live music and dancing until the wee hours of the morning. Many of the dishes are comparable in price to most restaurants in the area and with parking across the street, and valet service on the weekend, you will never have to worry about searching for a place to park. Being 24 hours, it caters to many people from around the neighborhood and from around the city. Also, conveniently located near the corner of Western and Armitage, it is accessible by the 49 CTA bus and right off the Western blue line stop. With various concert halls and bars located near by, it is a great place to grab a bit to eat after a spectacular show or a fun night with friends. With the ability to rent out the stage, it is perfect for weddings, parties, gathering, and so on and so forth. Overall it is a great place with great food at a great price, and an incredible lively feeling, you will surely have a great time as you sip on a nice cool margarita.
