Shabu Shabu, a Chinatown staple, with its bright color, is very inviting and the aroma of the food is tantalizing. What makes this place unique is that it is not your typical restaurant where you go and order, but rather you cook your own food.
Featuring the Japanese dish Shabu-Shabu which is thinly sliced beef boiled in water, which after cooked, it is dip in different sauces. After ordering, the servers come with a kettle filled with broth along side the order of meat, which includes a wide variety of vegetables as well. After that, the customer is pretty much running the show, occasionally the staff comes by refilling the broth. For those that choose not to go the shabu-shabu route, the menu there is many items one can choose which then the chef with prepare for you.
With its bright interior design, warm atmosphere, and very attentive staff, this restaurant is one that gives not just an unique dining experience, but one that can be shared with friends and family. On an additional note, try the bubble tea, it makes for a sweet after dinner drink.
